As a gamer and a Christian it is very difficult to find games on the market that both play well and are not offensive to my faith. The following is a list of games I have played. Playability Scale
Exceptional. On its way to being a classic.
A solid game with solid mechanics.
Slight mechancial problems but still playable.
Played once or twice then sold on Ebay.
Trash can material.

Objectionable Material Scale
Mild to no objective material.
Some concern. Read the "objectionable material" section in the game review before buying.
Offensive to a concervative Christian.
Offensive to a liberal Christian.
No Christian should play this game.

Family Scale
A game with easy, quick rules and quick setup time. Ages 8 and up.
A game with some reading and thinking required.
Moderately hard ages 10 and up. It will take some explaining but will be fun.
Hard for the average family. Deepening strategies and moderate reading.
Way to hard for the family. Family won't even get through the rulebook.

Gaming Group Scale
Hardcore gamers only. 20+ page rulebook. Game length of 2+ hours.
Lots of strategies. Little chance. Game length of 1 1/2 hours max.
A light strategy game.
A game full of chance. Will only play late at night when braindead.
Awful. Who brought this game with the movement spinner anyway?

Youth Group Scale
Simple rules. Allows lots of players.
The game takes explaining but it is still fun. Allows lots of players.
A fun game but it doesn't accommodate a lot of players.
The game is too complex and doesn't allow a lot of players.
No way. This game won't work in a group setting.
